Addons / Configurable Options & Invoicing

uid0

Question

Hello,

i have serveral questions about WHMCS.

1. If a customer order for a already existing product an additionally ip for his vps (solusvm) or webspace (cpanel), is there a option that the ip get setted up automaticly after paying?

2. the addon should have the same payment date as the main product because of the transaction fees. is it possible to setup that the first invoice is only that value which is missing until the date for the next invoicing for the main product? like at the down / upgrade function at whmcs. and then the additional ip should get into the same invoice as the main product.

If i setup a configurable option, can it get ordered for a existing product or only for new orders? or must i setup a addon for it and disable that addon at the ordering procces so it wont get displayed twice (configurable option + addon)?

thanks. i hope you can understand my bad english.

Hi,

WHMCS can assign a dedicated IP address to the client's cPanel account upon creation if you create a "Yes/No" configurable option called "Dedicated IP". This is a standard function, no addons required.

If you wanted to add the IP address at a later date, then the Customisable Packages Addon will be able to provision it on a cPanel server for you automatically: http://www.whmcs.com/addons/configurable-package-addon/
