Install directory will not upload to WHMCS directory

Hi.

I am trying to upgrade my WHMCS to the latest version. I have successfully uploaded all the files/folders to my WHMCS directory EXCEPT the "install". My WHMCS directory will simply not accept it. I can upload it to other directories in my /public_html with no problem. I am using CPANEL and use FILEZILLA for my ftp.

Can anyone please advise.

Thanks.........John

Thanks for your response.

I have tried just about everything, the whmcs directory will simply not accept it. BUT I had not realised that the version I am downloading is exactly the same as that already installed. I currently have 5..2.4 and was attempting to install version 5.2.7 and I have no idea why this is happening.

I contacted GODADDY who where less than useless - we don't support whmcs. So my only hope is whmcs community.

Dumb suggestion, but have you looked to make sure it doesn't already exist in that directory?

Have you looked via some other method (file manager as suggested) to be sure it's not there and set as immutable or something of that nature?

The only reason I can fathom for not allowing a folder to upload to a specific directory is that it already exists. I don't have any experience with GD hosting, but if it's a regular Cpanel, that shouldn't matter.

Well i suggest you to contact again with godaddy and told them that i can't upload the install decirtory it must be problem with server not with the folder or whmcs. i was aware this problem before then i contact with my host and they have made it perfect for me.
