coghost
I have quite a few custom fields I need to setup for each ticket. I am finding it impossible to do this because when I click the custom field tab and add a field I have to save it,which saves the department and then i have to open the department back up, go back to custom fields where i am able to add the next field and then save once again only to have to keep opening the department each time to add another custom field. Another issue with this is I have to first create the department, save it and reopen it before the custom field tab is even visible to use. Why is there not an add button to keep adding custom fields until i am done? Edited August 26, 2013 by coghost
coghost
Since there is obviously no answer for this I am calling it a bug that needs to be fixed. The idea that I have to jump around to create multiple custom fields is ridiculous!
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 29, 2013 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 29, 2013 Hi, If you'd like to suggest a change to the way the software is designed, we welcome feature requests at http://requests.whmcs.com This would not be a bug as the software is not currently designed to operate in the way you describe.
coghost
Thanks John I will do that, so you are telling me that even though I have the capability of adding more than one custom field and I have to save it and then reopen the department in order to create another (for every custom field) it was purposely designed that way? While that may not be a bug because it does work (regardless how retarded it is) it most certainly is a major over site on the developers part to make it so convoluted and awkward... (to put mildly)!
