Remove the CVV field due to offline processing.

Is it possible to get a option to remove the CVV field for offline processing systems.

I feel silly asking the customer for the cvv seeing the already entered it already via the portal.

And maybe a notice that sales (or whatever) will contact them for the cvv number due to offline processing.

Hi,

It's strictly against Visa, Mastercard, Amex.. policy for the CVV to be stored in any format, even written down on paper, so WHMCS does not store it. The point being that the client has to be at their computer or on the phone at the exact moment of payment to authorise the transaction.

 

If you want to process payments later without the CVV then you'll need to speak to your payment processor to get the ability to process payments without it.
