chrcol
This is regarding my WHMCS license. I moved over from a reseller who you stopped allowing to sell whmcs, and now directly with whmcs I am having to manually pay every month. A support rep claims I just have to click on a subscribe button but its not there on my invoice?
mlew2
there is a recurring payment dashboard I believe it works both ways I know if someone is paying you you can have it automatically take a payment from them I would think you could do it the way you want to
chrcol
I am talking about on the whcs member area not the product sorry. A support rep has answered now, it only appears if the invoice date is in the future. Whmcs only issue new invoices with 5 days notice and as I am very busy I only got round to the invoice when it was overdue, to how busy I am is why I am trying to get a paypal subscription going.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted July 4, 2013 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted July 4, 2013 Hi, The PayPal Subscribe button only appears on invoices before on on the due date, otherwise the Subscription would send payment late and you'd get overdue reminders every month. This is exactly the same behaviour as your own installation: http://docs.whmcs.com/PayPal#PayPal_Subscriptions.2FRecurring_Billing
chrcol
Well if it happened to my customer I would simply change the due date to allow them to subscribe or send them amanual subscribe link. the same has happened this month and as I am getting sick of it payment is witheld until a subscription link is provided. I tried to create a new license to see if it gave me the option of starting a subscription from the off, but it got held up as potential fraud Is it that impossible to bump the due date to 1 august to allow me to make a subscription now?
And then there was one les
ITs not difficult to do and you could do it with a hook, what if a client comes along and makes the payment very late purposely and repeats it time and again. you could lose a lot of your income from that sort of practice, i would say easily 1 - 2 months of your income on the clients account could be lost.
