0 WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 30, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 30, 2007 Hi, Sometimes unzipping programs miss out the templates_c folder because it doesn't contain any files. If that's happened to you, then just create an empty folder called templates_c in your main WHMCS directory and CHMOD it as required. 0 tomparker69uk
It should be there. Just try unzipping the file again, or creating a templates_c directory in the root of your installation. CHMODing is done via FTP permissions or cPanel manager. Just if ya didn't know!
0 Media Corp.
I have a related question... When I'm asked to CHMOD the files/directories to 777 does this mean I'm also CHMODing to 777 the files WITHIN the said directories? Using WS_FTP Pro and when I CHMOD the directories to 777 I'm asked if I want to set this permission (777) for the files that are IN the said directory. I'm new (obviously). Thanks in advance, Derek
0 Daniel
No you don't need to chmod the files inside the directory. As well as the directories it will ask you to chmod a couple of files too, one being the announcements.xml file.
