chickc
We originally imported all our clients, but only a limited amount are showing as Active even though we have many recurring billable items running for clients in our system. Granted, most of our billable items were entered manually in the system and were not neccesarily generated from the clients area, but there must be an automated way to get them to show up as Active. This affects things like drop-downs in areas such as Quotes (were they don't show up) and it becomes a pain to keep going back and manually making them Active. Anyone run across this before or have a suggestion? Thanks.
RebelOne
We have a bunch of clients that we just add billable items through the month then invoice at the end of the month. To keep them "active" we made a fake "product" that is hidden from the front end, and is a one time, free product. Ours is just called "web services". Add this fake product to the clients profile via the normal ordering system and they will stay active.
othellotech
It's a "Bug" in the way WHMCS thinks of Clients - just set them to active and change your cron parameters to stop it overwriting it, or cron a php job to set them back to Active after the WHMCS cron.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted June 13, 2013 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted June 13, 2013 Hi, A more elegant solution would be to simply disable the 'Client Status Update' option under Setup > Automation Settings: http://docs.whmcs.com/Automation_Settings#Client_Status_Update
