Si
Has anyone had any issues with 2 factor authentication using a blackberry? Apparently (an iphone user myself - and no issues), customers with blackberry 10's are unable to use it. The Google authenticator does not have a qr code reader built in and entering the email address and key code manually seems to always produce an error (irrespective of what device you use). Is there an alternative app for blackberry? Is anyone else having issues manually entering the email and key code?
Si
OK, taking this further, and hopefully this helps others: This app works for blackberry. http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/91062 You can only copy the full text, but at least you can then paste it into a memo and select the required text. In the process of doing this, we discovered the text displayed on the screen is totally different from that in the QR code and it is only the QR code that works. ????? That really needs to be checked out.
Si
If I can just be clear on this: QR code scanning always works. Manual input (I can never get it to work). Using a QR reader (not google authenticator) shows the key code as being totally different to the key code displayed on the page. Is this normal or is it the reason manual input doesn't seem to be working?
Bubka3
Have you tried entering the key code from the scan in manual? Just curious if that would work.

WHMCS Chris
To note, Google Authenticator does not ship a bar code scanner. You need to obtain one from the appstore itself. Why Google does this, I'm not sure.
