Hi

I have whmcs but it took me 3 days to get it installed but I can't figure it out. I don't really need all of these thousand of file as my hosting is not a business, only for a select few people like friends and relatives. I also don't like the looks of it. Tried to change some things to look like my website design but messed it up. Don't think I can afford to have a mod do it when I really don't need all of it. I don't understand php or really much coding. Used to using WYSIWYG. I might have to take it down. Know how to get it of my website but don't know how to get it off cpanel.

Does anyone know of a smaller app or another program written in html or should I just throw in the towel.

Hope someone has some ideas.

By the way, I am not really stupid, just a 72 year old Great Grandmother. lol

You don't need to know any PHP to use WHMCS - you don't even need to know any PHP to edit a template.

It's possible to strip a lot of the WHMCS features away by editing the template you are using - it's actually very similar to HTML, so if you can do HTML, you can more than likely make the changes you need.

Also, you never need to edit a PHP file - you only need to modify the TPL files (using a text editor).

For the price you are getting WHMCS at it is defiantly worth it! For the design integration a mere $15 - $30 one time and someone will integrate your design for you, usually within 24 hours (Google WHMCS Integration).

WHMCS is very flexible as mentioned in the above post, you can take out almost anything! Or you can request some changes with your design integration company that you choose.

Let us know if you manage to solve everything, care to link us to your website?

I would definitely say stick with WHMCS. It's always better to have more features than not enough for future growth. While it can be a bit intimidating as a new user you'll soon get to used to the software. In comparison to software such as Magento I think WHMCS do a good job of keeping their software fairly simple/light weight.
