alinford
What exactly does this do? I assume that it only attempts to capture for Domains or Services that are set to autorenew and are due / past due. Is this correct? We have invoices that were created for domains that are due, but are not set to autorenew. I assume that these would be ignored. Correct?
alinford
Ok, since no one was answering this, I asked WHMCS, and there response is this (I strung together two different responses): The "Attempt Capture" button will attempt to take payment for any due invoices (on the invoice due date or overdue) that have a credit/debit card gateway assigned to them. If the invoices for the domains are set to an automatic payment gateway payment would be taken. A domain that has an invoice, but is not setup to autorenew, will be charged. Does this seem like the way it should work?
tkalfaoglu
The auto-capture for some reason does not work for me. I have to manually capture them.. That is, even for customers whose services are defined as "auto renew" , their credit cards do not automagically get charged for their invoices. Yes, I have it enabled in WHMCS's config screen too..
