petleyj
Hi guys. I'm new at this, but have a reseller account and need to know how to set up auto-creating a username and password for clients to login to there hosting accounts. Thanks. WHMCS Chris
Hello James, WHMCS already does this when a user submits an order.
petleyj
Hi Chris, thanks for the reply. I created a test order but upon getting the new account information e-mail no username or password is there to login to the cpanel. Is there an option I should have applied?
WHMCS JamesX
Do you have a cPanel server configured at Setup -> Products/Services -> Servers? What module are you using for the product/service itself?

WHMCS Product Manager WHMCS John Posted January 23, 2013 WHMCS Product Manager Share Posted January 23, 2013 Hi, WHMCS can indeed automatically provision services, you can specify whether this happens before or after payment, wait until manually approved by a member of staff, or disabled entirely. This is set on a per-product basis, navigate to Setup > Products/Services > Products/Services > Edit > Module Settings tab and the four auto-setup options will be available for you to select. If the auto-setup is not occurring please begin your troubleshooting by watching the following video tutorial: If that doesn't help please review Utilities > Activity Log at the time of ordering for any error messages which should explain what the problem is. An explanation of common error messages can be found at: http://docs.whmcs.com/Troubleshooting_Guide http://docs.whmcs.com/Common_Troubleshooting_Tips http://docs.whmcs.com/Server_Modules If you're unable to identify the problem please copy the Activity Log entries into your reply here for us to analyse.
