WHMCS Chris
Well it's been a little over a week since we've introduced the Feature Request system, and I'm surprised by how well it's taken off. Obviously it's a new system and it's difficult to see the return on this without physically having an update including these, but I'd like to ask, what's everyone's thoughts? stormy
I think it's great! Although the account migration from the forum to the requests area wasn't clear at all for me, so I created a new account. I also think closing the Feature Requests forum wasn't a good idea, because there's no link to what was being discussed there and the new area. It would be nice to be able to reply to threads there and point to the relevant request in the new section.
Redsign
Good to have! I'd like an easy way of seeing what's scheduled for the next release from the homepage though

I apologize that it wasn't clear - you should have automatically been logged in when you went to the feature request page however. I moved nearly every feature request across so they were available on the new system, rather than users having a blank slate. I initially though about redirecting the old requests, but felt that may be more confusing. We closed it solely because we wanted to use the new system, rather than having two - so I again apologize.

There's already an RSS feed setup for this software so it's definitely doable
stormy
I think you could also list the most recent suggestions in the front page, instead of the most popular ones. Or maybe a random selection. Anything that will help give some visibility to suggestions that could be popular but aren't,

Anything that will help give some visibility to suggestions that could be popular but aren't, Stormy, I misunderstood your initial post where frontpage, is the frontpage of requests.whmcs.com, rather than whmcs.com. I've changed it to list the most recently updated. Additionally, you can click through to see all requests, or search by category or phrase.
MemoryX2
I think it would be convenient if the feature requests link on the main forum was a link to the new feature request system. It would be convenient at least. Otherwise I really really like the new system! Can't wait for the next release of WHMCS! Hoping it will be soon!
WHMCS Chris
There is a link in the descriptors. We wanted to ensure everyone was aware and clear on the new system rather than just hard linking across.
