MyLibary
I have some users that has some multy cpanel account and they pay with subscription. Unfortuantly every time they pay for 1 service, they get "overpayment credit". I tried to read and i found this: " Automatic Credit A credit is added to the users account automatically when an invoice is overpaid. A common cause of this is when the client sets up more than 1 PayPal Subscription. This will appear in the log as "Credit for Overpayment of Invoice #xxxx" " took from: http://docs.whmcs.com/Transactions#Account_Prefunding.2FAdd_Funds How the hell im stopping it? its crediting membmers and i lose money. Let me know please!
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 2, 2012 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 2, 2012 Hi, Without seeing the transaction and credit history it's impossible to say for sure. But usually the client will have made one overpayment, then the next month no payment was required because the invoice was paid by the credit. However the PayPal subscription sent a payment anyway, thereby generating another credit. So you're not actually losing money - the client is getting what they're paying for. Doing it any other way would be ripping your customer off
Mdlacey85
Not true. I also need to be able to turn off this function. WHMCS is crediting the accounts incorrectly. It takes the payment is the customers chosen currency, but the payment gateway only accepts my local currency, so the whmcs module does the conversion. The problem is when it's reported back to whmcs, it's doesn't recognize that it has been converted and reports it back as USD, causing the system to think an overpayment had been made and crediting the account for the currency difference in USD as a perceived overpayment. So not only am I loosing money, but also have been paying myself for my customers accounts.
