Where to find an email template for use with the Mass Mail Tool?

Hi,

 

I'm feeling a bit stupid here over what should be obvious, I think

 

I've got plenty of email templates setup, some pre-defined, some we've created ourselves.

 

When I go to use the mass mail tool, there doesn't appear to be any opportunity to select an email template to use, either on the initial page after you click "Mass Mail", or on the next page where you're presented with a blank email message area.

 

Sure, I can visit my email templates in another browser tab, open up the one I want to use, and cut and paste this text into my blank email message area - but surely there's a more efficient way?

 

Surely I'm missing something??

Hi,

You can use the "Load Saved Message" dropdown for this. It's right at the bottom of the page beneath the Available Merge Fields.

Ah! Thanks for that.

 

All the same, that strikes me as a far from obvious place to put. IMHO the should be an option to "Load Saved Message" on the first page you see after you click "Mass Mail Tool".... because the choice of which message to load is directly relevant to the existing choices being made on that first page.

 

Of if that's technically difficult, rather move the existing position of the "Load Saved Message" dropdown box either immediately above or below the message body area. Where it is now is sooooo not intuitive. Unless it's just me
