Slow website strange redirect

Recommended Posts

Hi,

How are you redirecting? A simple .htaccess in the root?

Anyway, head over to http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/ to use their tool and have a look at the results.

Looks like 52 of your 56 images (587k) are loaded via css and are taking around 13 seconds then your 131k of scripts are taking a couple of seconds.

Alos a couple of on-page errors:

ReferenceError: Can't find variable: Spry clientarea.php:440

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of http://miamiheattickets.com/http.php 404 (Not Found)

Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL http://www.ikonichost.co.za/clientarea.php from frame with URL http://miamiheattickets.com/http.php. Domains, protocols and ports must match.

I would recommend stripping everything back to basics, then baseline a good load time and then gradually add the bells and whistles back in.

By the way, W3C CSS validator shows 1185 errors and 2027 warnings in the code, with the HTML validator showing 30 errors and 6 warnings. Sometimes these can be safely ignored but may also be worth a scan through......

Hope that helps!

Hi,

Do the standard WHMCS templates work ok? If so you should really speak to the people who designed the template for you. There may be some reason why the page layout is designed that way..... but for my 10 cents:

1. Move all of your javascript out of the header and put them at the bottom of the page just before the closing </body> tag (leave all the css references in the header...). In any event, seven of these just seem to reload the page????

2. Combine the 3 inline css text files into one and call it externally.

3. Move the div class "container" to the top of the body above the 3 div classes for the facebook iframes as these are also loading a shedload of javascript.

Give it a whirl........

when i enter in your url http://www.ikonichost.co.za try to infect my computer, you have malware in there

What warning are you getting because I'm not seeing it? What browser are you using? What is the malware?

I've run a scan to check at http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/www.ikonichost.co.za/clientarea.php and it is reported clean so would like to know.

Thanks.

Since you're offering to pay, moved to the marketplace, where that's allowed.

You have several trojans in javascript files, according to Eset.

/includes/jscript/jquery.js (JS/Iframe.FA trojan)

/templates/HostClub/js/whmcs.js (JS/Iframe.FA trojan)

Likely there are more...

The WHMCS.js one:
