bogo
Hi, how to change the String "WHMCS New Order Notification"? I need to have it in German Language.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted July 23, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted July 23, 2007 You cannot change admin emails as there shouldn't be any need as it's only your staff who get them. You can change only client emails with the email templates section. Matt
cdixon
I disagree. There is a need to change admin e-mails. I hate getting new order notifications without know who submitted the order, what the order is for, and how much. I should be able to set exactly what I want to see in the notification I receive. This information will help me to know whether or not I need to do something as soon as the order is received or if it can wait.
bogo
Right! I would love to set up my own "Order notification" Template. I need do have more information on it like: - Customer Name - Domain - Payment Gateway - Product ...

SHGreg
As a business owner, I should always be able to edit the email templates for my own and my staff needs. It is not the software vendors place to dictate the content of my business emails, they should always be editable (from/subject/body). I would like to see this feature added
Si
Think this might be of interest to you all. http://www.whmcs.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3150 It works brilliantly and installs in a couple of minutes.

MikeDVB
You cannot change admin emails as there shouldn't be any need as it's only your staff who get them. Matt I feel that it is very closed minded to think this way, however I do not feel that this is an urgent issue that needs attended to immediately. I as well feel it would be wonderful to be able to modify the administration e-mail templates. I receive these e-mails on my mobile and if I could edit them I would drop out a lot of the information I don't need and put some useful information in the subject line so I can get an idea of what the order is without having to scroll through an 8 SMS long message to get the jist of it.
bdnero
I like to see my order notification like- 'My Company Name' New Order Notification. WHMCS copyright notice already present in admin backend footer- "Copyright © WHMCompleteSolution. All Rights Reserved." So, there is no logic to show their brand name in admin email also.
xperience
I'd also agree with everyone here that being able to edit ALL e-mails (not just customer ones) would be useful.
SilverNodashi
I'd also like to see this options, for 2 reasons: Company branding - even inside the company, it's important for our staff (who manage & support 3 different companies) to see which order was placed for which company, and it will make it so much easier to go through them, looking for a specific client's order.
