WHMCS not importing tickets

Recommended Posts

For some reason a week ago WHMCS stopped importing my emails into tickets.

All the cron jobs are ok, no errors.

I checked the ticket logs in WHMCS and there are no entries.

I have the installation setup on my domain and the e-mail for the domain is running through google business. It was working previously

I have also tried to set it up using an alternative pop3 setup but still will even attempt to import.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do here. I am using Version 5.0.3

thanks

Troy

Hi,

Do you see any entries under Utilities > Logs > Ticket Mail Import Log?

As you've now switched to the POP Cron import method, what do you see on-screen when you access the /pipe/pop.php file directly in your browser?

I do not get any messages in the Utilities > Logs > Ticket Mail Import Log

When I use the path you suggested - /pipe/pop.php I get

POP Import Log

Date: 03/05/2012 12:32:16

Host: pop.gmail.com

Email: support@trc.net.au

An Error Occurred: Too many login failures

I have it setup using pop.gmail.com with port 995 and the correct user name and password.

If I try mail.trc.net.au it times out

Any thoughts? it has me stumped

There no messages in the Logs. when I run /pip/pop.php from the browser I get the following:

POP Import Log

Date: 03/05/2012 12:48:54

Host: pop.gmail.com

Email: support@trc.net.au

An Error Occurred: Too many login failures

I have verified that my user name and password are correct.

Using port 995 and pop.gmail.com

Cant see what else to do, this just stopped working for no reason.
