paperweight
I am moving my WHMCS from one server/domain to another server/domain. I) I first clicked the "Reissue" button at WHMCS.com. 2) Then I downloaded the zip, and then I re-uploaded it to my new server. I unzipped and changed the config file name. All easy! 3) The I go to /install/install.php and it's a blank page. Nothing. I have been like this for almost 24 hours. Over the last 24 hours I have done the following: a) Cursed a lot *** b) Downloaded and re-uploaded 3 times. c) Rebooted my server multiple times. d) Checked that my ioncube was installed. And I re-installed once. e) Cursed much more. f) Researched other non-WHMCS solutions, but decided WHMCS is the best and I want to keep it. g) Cursed much more h) Registered on this forum and placed this post I also added this to my config file: $display_errors = true; But, of course, that config file is still blank and I still see no errors because I have not been able to install this yet! I know my details are not much, but I have also googled and searched on this forum and I see no other similar problem. Any ideas?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 12, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 12, 2011 Step-by-step instructions can be found in our documentation: http://docs.whmcs.com/Licensing Most importantly is copying the configuration.php file across, don't try and create a new one.

paperweight
Yes, solved. I posted on another thread that I'm still unsure how it was solved -- this machine was identical to another machine running WHMCS. We re-installed ioncube a 3rd time and it worked. Still unclear why though... gremlins....
