Selecting Currency only available on step 1

It's really frustrating that I can't link directly to packages because the user cannot change the currency after step 1 on any theme except the Ajax theme (which is badly designed, but not the topic of this post).

 

Can you please add the currency selection option to EVERY step, especially the checkout page. It's very confusing to users and adds a lot of unneeded work. This should be default on every theme.

It's available on web20cart, slider, modern & ajaxcart. You can just copy/paste the code if you want to add it to other templates.

Yes, that would be an easy way to accomplish this, however with the way whmcs updates are designed, I'm trying to not edit templates as best I can otherwise it's a lot of work to do it again with each update.

 

I would think something like this should be included as standard or at least on the checkout page where a person would select their currency. Just makes sense to me.

I too would like to know how to do this i tried copying the code from ajaxcart to a different template but it didnt change the currency on the page. None of the other templates have the currency change only ajax.

ok i got it working but when you change the currency you get the error # Host Name is required # Rcon Password is required # not that its that big a deal. What would be better, is there a way when a user clicks the Direct Shopping Cart Link to tell it to use the correct currency.

ok sorted that out myself to /cart.php?a=add&pid=14&currency=2 add the &currency=2 to the end of the link
