Dominator24
Hi there, I use google chrome as my main browser. On navigating to "Add Announcement" on simple admin theme the page crashes upon trying to enter the text area. Both Google chrome, WHMCS is the latest stable release. Kind Regards, Lee Johnson

zomex
I'm also not experiencing this issue. Does it happen everytime you load the page?
Dominator24
I am not changing my main browser, I use to use FF until Chrome became the browser of my choice. Cleared everything, cookies, temp files all purged. I still experience this issue. Chrome wants me to kill the page as it becomes unresponsive. However upon opening incoginito and trying from there. It works, I am rather confused.
silentkiller
It happens to me as well. My Chrome will hang (resulting in having to kill child processes) when adding replies to tickets. Not sure what exactly is the cause.

Dominator24
Hello again, I think its any WHMCS page with the tinymice or whatever it is. Same problem in editing email templates, all tabs open in the WHMCS admin area crash.

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted July 7, 2011 WHMCS CEO Share Posted July 7, 2011 I'm unable to reproduce this with TinyMCE here but as a temporary workaround at least, you can simply rename the /admin/editor/ folder or delete it, and then the TinyMCE editor won't be loaded in those areas and you can add the announcements and edit the email templates in plain HTML mode. And I presume if it's a browser compatability issue then TinyMCE will release an update for that in due course. Matt
