diastech
does whmcs currently support automatic reoccurring payments with 2co.com? as in, without any intervention from me or the client on a monthly basis? i signed up for whmcs in order for it to be easier to keep track of the reoccurring charges, but i didn't want to have it setup so that the client has to sign-in every month to pay it. i did setup the 2co gateway to use the 2co routine. is this the correct way? i have the cron setup correctly because it does give invoice reminders 2 days before the invoice is due and also it has been sending over due notices. please shed some light on this. i am very new to whmcs, but this is basically why i signed up for it, so i want to check if its something in the setup or its just not possible with 2co.com also, if it is not possible with 2co.com, what other 3rd parties work in this manor. i do not have a high volume to get a full merchant account. thanks again for the help.

diastech
excellent. thanks for that info. does paypal payments standard automatically process payments in this manor? or even paypal payments pro? i have standard, but i was thinking of dropping 2co and getting paypal payments pro. not sure yet if its worth the trouble though. also, what type of payment gateway would allow the customers credit card information to be stored in whmcs so if there was an expired card on file they could just login and update it if needed? thanks again
easyhosting
Paypal Standard handles recurring (subscription) payments with ease 2co is just a one off payment and then your transaction charges, while PP Pro charge a monthly fee along with trasaction charges. about storing cc numbers in WHMCS, this would be a database file and not a payment gateway, i dont do this so not sure.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted April 20, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted April 20, 2011 To store the client's CC details in WHMCS you need to use a merchant gateway: http://docs.whmcs.com/Payment_Gateways
