PrvtPilot
Hi, I have a domain in my system that was originally registered on 2/24/2009 at a different host. It was transferred to my system on 6/16/2009 when we built a new website and started hosting the site for the client. The domain details read like this in WHMCS: Registration - 2/24/2009 Expiry - 6/16/2011 Next Due Date - 6/16/2011 On 1/24/2011 an invoice was generated for this domain renewal, the due date was 2/23/2011. I have the domain sync cron job running for my registrar. I also checked the date and time stamp on the server running WHMCS and it is correct. A suspension notice was sent out this morning for this invoice. The domain was not actually suspended. It would seem that the system generated the invoice from the registration date and not the due date, is that possible? Thanks for any Info, Dean
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted March 14, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted March 14, 2011 Is the invoice definitely in your current installation? Have you ever moved servers? It sounds like the invoice might have been generated by a different installation still on a previous server.
PrvtPilot
Hi John, Yes, the invoice is in the active installation. I went in to the client account and canceled the invoice. I did move servers about a year and a half ago. I do have another installation of WHMCS running, however it is using an entirely different database and the invoice was created about a month before I setup the second WHMCS installation. I made sure that the two installations could not cross talk. It's being used for development of a new website. Thanks for the reply, Dean
