hostand
So i have this client who signed up for a service we offer and he decided to change his mind and filed a dispute wihtout approaching us for a refund. So after showing proof that he did buy it and didn't approach us for a refund the credit card company said, as per VISA and MasterCard rules, YOU HAVE TO DISPLAY TERMS AND CONDITIONS ont he same page and not provide a link before they accept. Current WHMCS give them a link to terms and conditions, is there anyway i can paste them right on that page for them to read before they accept them?
zomex
That's correct what you can do is create a text area form with your terms of service and then add it to the correct file which is: whmcs/templates/orderforms/YOUR_CART/viewcart.tpl. You can see which cart your using from inside the admin panel under setup > general settings > ordering. The terms area is at the bottom of viewcart.tpl. Eric Seiler
Has anyone found the exact condition that stipulates this requirement (Terms and Conditions must be embedded as opposed to linked) in Visa or Mastercard's Mechant agreements? I've seen some pretty vague stuff implied by what is required by paper receipts, but nothing so clear for online sales. Googling and going to their respective sites hasn't yielded anything concrete.
