subran
Hi, I have a problem with the Domain Checker. When I enter a domainnaam and click on lookup it shows "The domain you entered is not valid" So my clients are unable to order a domain... What should I do ? My site is here : https://www.subran.be/ventes/domainchecker.php Thank you for your help, Elie

subran
Ok, where do I have to open that port 43?
apsmike
You have to open that port in firewall, like if you have CSF firewall installed then you can edit csf.conf and add the port 43 in it. If you have iptables then yo have to add a rule for it, I can do it.
subran
Ok but in what Firewall? I have no access to the firewall of the host of my website...
apsmike
You can contact your webhosting provider and ask them to open port 45 for incoming and outgoing connections in their firewall and it will be done.
subran
Is there a way to make it work without opening this port ? If ever my webhoting provider doesn't allow me to open that port ?
apsmike
I dont think so, no web hosting provider will deny for this. Everyone knows about WHMCS, so let the provider know about it and they will do it.

apsmike
The request type will be for UDP/TCP for incoming and outgoing connections for required port number.
