Questions about products

We are using WHMCS and Plesk.

I am a little new to this whole process, but this is how I see it working. Please let me know if I am wrong.

Every product or bundle is a product registered in Plesk. When a customer buys a product, WHMCS handles the shopping cart and credit card transaction (with the merchant account) and calls to the Plesk API to set up the new products for the customer. Recurring billing will be automatic for all products that are recurring.

If a customer buys a basic Internet package (domain name, small hosting space, and email), can they purchase new email accounts whenever they want (or other products)? When they do, do they configure the products through WHMCS' API to Plesk, or do they have to log into their plesk control panel?

Thanks in advance,

--Jeff

Thank you!

I assume the same is true if I go with cPanel? Customers will still have to login to their cPanel control panel to do hosting specific tasks?

When the hosting account is purchased, does the customer set a login username and password for their hosting account or is it the same as the login information for WHMCS?
