Domain + CPanel

Hi,

Please excuse me if the question has already been asked but I cannot find any answer after many searches.

We recently start to sell domain names without hosting.

However, WHMCS does not create entries on WHM. So the DNS block.

How can I force WHM to create parked domains ? It's very uncomfortable to have to do that by hand.

Thanks,

Simon

Do you mean, if they only register a domain & no hosting... you want it to point to a parking page for advertising? I had this question a while ago & never followed it through as I had no idea how to do it. But thinking now, all you'd have to do is create a hook on domain register, to add a parked domain via the WHM API.

Of course, you'd first have to check if the order has no hosting, or this would break your setup of the hosting account.

Thank you for your answers :)

Not for advertising. I want the DNS servers powered by WHM manage automatically the domains created with WHMCS. Without providing hosting or disk space.
in my opinion, parked domains should be added by customer in theirs cpanel
Yes, but how can I set up WHMCS to create user account on CPanel when the transaction is done ? Edited by sd2310

the only two ways i just can think are.

1- create a custom module for whm to do this through the WHM api

2- create the cpanel account as usual using the whmcs cpanel module and do not provide the cpanel login info or customize the cpanel package features to do not show the information that you dont want.
