@ Awebus - thanks for the update. What are the problems you are having? Did you get any support from their team ?

I was thinking of giving it a go, but don't want to give away $10 if it aint working .

What a shame - as their page info and screenshots look great, very informative and the plugin looks like it will do what I want.

I really need a working integration with a decent email marketing programme either Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor - that will allow me to subscribe users to different lists depending on their activity in WHMCS.

Well I went ahead and bought the plugin (their latest version 1.3) ... here's the lowdown.

Looks well done, good interface with WHMCS and certainly has all the features you could want.

BUT - sadly, not working :0(

1) doesn't add any "Show newsletter options on Order/Signup" on the front end

Is there a specific custom field hook that can be used for this ?

2) using the tools feature, it is supposed to subscribe your contacts to your chosen MC list - the MC API call shows activity, and in the status page in whmcs addon, it shows the user is now subscribed, but the list in mailchimp does not show any new members. I suspect this would be the case even with a new sign up subscriber too, but not had the chance to test that because of (1) above.

EDIT: (2) does work ! Mailchimp took about 10 minutes to actually show the added list members!

Now to find the issue with (1) above!

3) The files are all ioncube encoded (sigh), so no chance of troubleshooting the code.

Have emailed their support and shall keep you all posted !!

Right - got this add on working successfully now.

As I don't use the [for each] custom field hook, I had to add the subscribe form custom fields myself to my clientregister and viewcart.tpl files.

I did this by looking at my webpage source code and copying the code for the specific custom fields and then adding them in to the source files.

I can confirm that this works fine upon client registration, haven't tested the viewcart (checkout) yet, but assume that will function in the same manner.

Good work AdMod !

They have now released this as open source GPL code. Definitely worth $10 !

Well done Admod!

The only Issue I have is when I edit a client's profile it seems to automatically unsubscribe them from Mailchimp and I have to re-add them again. Any insight on how to prevent this happening would be appreciated.

Hi, mine cant work properly. I did the steps as per instruction. However, no body is in the list even I have some customers signup the WHMCS. Is this plugin works on customer self sign up only? How about admin added the client? I believe it works the same right?
