.uk domains + ResellerClub

I am currently on the free trial testing WHMCS and the only problem I have come across so far is getting any .uk domains registration checks to work.

I've tried .org.uk and .co.uk and each time i test to register a domain it shows and error happened and just says domain unavailable. They are 100% available as i just enter random text like suadhfiu.co.uk.

I have resellerclub setup as my reseller as I have a good account with them and all domains work apart from .uk! The most important one for my business.

Any ideas?

If trying to order a .uk domain through WHMCS it just shows them as unavailable everytime

then your whois check is incorrect/failing

1. take a look at includes/whoisservers.php for the .co.uk line

2. install jwhois on your linux box

3. from a prompt type "whois (domain-you-want-to-check)"

look for firewalling issues etc if no response, compare the php to the whois

etc :)

I cab assure you whmcs can check and register .uk domains :)

I dont have that much access to my shared server account so I guess ill try asking my host if they can take a look.

If it'snot your server, you might find a lot of WHMCS functionality doesnt work as the "ports" wont be open in the firewall or functions might be disabled in php etc - I'd strongly advise getting your billing/control/deployment system onto it's own box as soon as practical
