After the fact integration, from another locale

I'm fairly confident in the answers to these questions after looking through the forum, but I just wanted to state them for clarity and confirm. Nonetheless I'll make it quick;

 

1) I already have a server running cPanel/WHM, and I know that you can import your cPanel users into WHMCS. What I am curious is if this alters the functionality of WHM or any portion of the current setup when I add WHMCS (will integration require any backflips?)

 

2) Can I run the WHMCS platform from a dedicated position not on the same server as the hosting accounts? I want to separate the two platforms and have each optimized to their specific use.

well i can answer 2 as yes.

 

i have all my hosting and cleints on 3 VPS, but my main site and WHMCS are held on a separate server that has no hosting accounts on this server.

Thanks for the reply easy; it seems logical to me that if the answer to number two is yes, then that should imply a definite yes to the first as well (given that the site admin would be responsible for setting up the individual servers prior to attaching them to WHMCS). Good to know!
