Custom invoice number

Hi All,

 

I have been searching this matter now for 2 days and I can't seem to find a proper way to get this done, so I think its about time to pop the question up here.

 

I would like to have my invoice numbering in the following format:

ddmmyyyy-invoicenumber

 

I have read this thread about this issue:

And added the file to my WHCMS installation but this does not seem to do the trick.

 

When I create an invoice for a customer in the admin panel it still get only the format #invoicenumber.

 

Is there anybody around who can put me in the right direction?

 

This is driving me nuts...

You can only set the "format" of *paid* invoices when using the pro-forma system.

Thanks for the answer... I activated the proforma setting in WHCMS but unfortunately is the script mentioned here:

affecting nothing.

 

Both proforma as invoice keep on getting invoices like #6 and so on...

 

I would like to have it like this:

 

ddmmyyyy-invoicenumber

 

Any ideas how I can achieve this?

Without manually changing the paid invoice format each day I'm afraid that isn't possible.
