Ok, So I setup the domain name registar though the backend (admin area)

And I was ready to take my first client.

They field out the form, and they registered a domain name .com.au (TPPinternet)

The client choose to place the money into my bank account, which they did.

However the domain did not register once I said that the invoice was paid.

I run the cron script, hoping that it would register the domain name, but it did not work.

I manually had to login to TPPinternet admin area to buy the domain.

If I have to do this every time a person wants to buy a domain, then why should I use WHMCS?

I thought it was suppost to register the domain name automatically

Have you contacted TPP and requested API access, and given them your IP address?

Have you got funds in your TPP account for purchasing domains?

  • WHMCS Support Manager

You can manually attempt to register a domain without needing to login to TPP by navigating to the client's domains tab and clicking the "Register" Module Command button. If there's an error you'll see it on-screen or under Utilities > Activity Log.
