rebouy
Hi, currently we run WHMCS in own our servers. This creates an issue, because if the server has any problem, our clients wont be able to access WHMCS to enter a support ticket. Does anyone know a reliable hostion option where to install WHMCS to manage our clients and products? We tried resellerclub but they wont open ports 2086 2087 so WHMCS can interact with cpanel in our servers. THANKS!! [JSH]John
You could set this up on a VPS, which would be a lot safer than shared hosting. Having it on a VPS also means you control which ports to have open.
LaceHost-Ishan
I guess most hosting companies do this. We keep our WHMCS on its own VPS in an altogether different datacenter.

Those are the ports on the remote servers, not on the server that WHMCS is located on, AFAIK. It also should be in a different DC so it's not affected by outages at the next level either.
