[NOT A BUG] Problem with second notification mail, amount due

We’re having a problem with the second notification for a invoice that’s got the wrong amount on.

 

Method to reproduce error.

 

Customer gets sent a invoice

 

Invoice #132281

Amount Due: R84.94

Due Date: 25/06/2010

Sub Total: R74.54

14.00% VAT: R10.44

Credit: R0.04

Total: R84.94

 

Customer does not pay right away and gets the first of the reminder emails,

 

Invoice: 132281

Amount Due: R84.94

Due Date: 25/06/2010

 

Customer Pays R 30.00 and still got a couple outstanding on the invoice,

 

Sub Total: R74.54
14.00% VAT: R10.44
Credit: R0.04
Total: R84.94

Amount: R30.00
Transaction #: 
Total Paid: R30.00
Remaining Balance: R54.94
Status: Unpaid

 

Method to add payment,

 

Lookup customers profile

Go to the invoice being paid

Click on Add Payment

Enter the amount paid and click on Add Payment Button

 

Customer Receives his second invoice reminder (First Invoice Reminder),

 

Invoice: 132281

Amount Due:*R54.94

Amount:

Due Date:

 

Customer Receives his Third invoice reminder (Second Invoice reminder),

 

Invoice: 132281

Amount Due: R84.94

Due Date: 25/06/2010

 

And last invoice reminder subject “Second Invoice Overdue Notice” is where the problem is, see the amount goes back to the first invoice send out and the R 30.00 payment the customer made is not reflecting on the reminder.

Check the email template, it sounds like you're using the {$invoice_total} merge field when you want to be using {$invoice_balance}.
