Some Questions

Question

Hello,

We are considering purchasing WHMCS for our new hosting company. We have a few questions, however, before we use it.

First of all, in regards to suspensions and terminations in WHM, is WHMCS fully integrated for those functions? I was a little confused when I read about the module commands stuff, and though since WHMCS didn't do those functions automatically, I'd have to do them myself.

Second of all, is it possible to integrate CraftySyntax Live Support into WHMCS? We currently use that for our live support solution and we would like to continue using it.

Finally, in regards to payment processors, I'd like to use AlertPay as my credit card processor. I would like it to show two different options on checkout - one saying Credit Card and the other saying AlertPay - both going to AlertPay. Is that possible?

Thanks!

Anthony

Hi Anthony,

First I'd like to recommend using the trial version. There is nothing like test drivin' a new car to see if it fits you, or find a server host for cheap $25/MO that includes WHMCS FREE and build a test site and use WHMCS for a few months or so. You'll get hooked. We did.

I'll try to answer your questions....

Suspensions and terminations in WHMCS is fully integrated with WHM and is completely assignable by many choices by dates. See attachments.

There are many help desk modules that will work over ride WHMCS standard help desk. You would need to check with your specific provider to see.

This is the current list of Payment Gateway Modules that have been listed to date. That is not to say there are many 3rd party addon payment gateway modules for sale on the internet.

Yes, you simply edit the WHMCS template and paste the live chat code.

Not as standard, however if you open a support ticket we can usually provide a duplicate payment gateway module for a small fee.
