Ktuite
I'm unable to have my WHMCS setup a cPanel account after clients purchase their selected package. Also, It sends it to "pending" even though I have it setup create it automatically create the order after the first payment has been received. And even once I activate it manually, it doesn't create an account in WHM. Here is what I have done so far: - Linked my WHMCS to my WHM with my root username and password, as well as the remote access key. - Made the "Module Settings" so that it should create the account right after the first payment is received - Made sure that all of my server settings are correct, and even checked in with my host to make sure. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Kyle Tuite
blymp
I have, think I could say a similar issue. When I accept any orders my WHMCS run the module creation, it creates the account on WHM, but the order remains in "pending" so I have to accept again unmarking the "run creation module", so the client can receive the welcome e-mail and the order can finally be set to "active". I tried a heck of things, also with my reseller server admins, but nothing could fix it. I wonder if it would happen in a dedicated or VPS server if I rent one. But no budged for that now. Sorry I can't help, but have you spoke with your server admins about permissions, or ports that WHMCS use and your server have open? Good luck!

vchosting
It will always set accounts to pending to allow you to manually check the order details for fraud etc but should still set up the cPanel
blymp
But it happens after I am accepting the order. Not after the client posting the order. In the Activity Log doesn't show any error. I think my problem is related with timeout errors. But because I have a reseller server the server admins cannot do anything about the preset timeout values.
Vertimyst
I'm having a similar problem. I have the module set to 'cPanel', Server Group 'None' (as there's nothing to select), with the package name 'vertimys_Free' (I have a few clients that get free accounts), and it's set to 'automatically set up the product as soon as the order is placed', because since some of my clients are free, I wasn't sure if it would work with the 'as soon as payment is received' option. After creating a test account, it doesn't create an account in cPanel. The activity logs say nothing about creating a cPanel account, either. Regarding the package name - my cPanel username is appended to the package name, so should I enter it like that (vertimys_Free), or just the package name (Free)? Just FYI, I have a reseller account with Innohosting (http://www.innohosting.com).
jack10k
We have the same issue, it seems that the password generator on WHMCS does not use special characters or numbers but cpanel is looking for those and will not accept the password. This should be addressed on WHMCS. Hopefully in the next release. Temporary you can change the last letter with &,$,# etc click Save Changes then click on Create.
