completework
Hi- In terms of the product WHMCS has developed an excellent product and really i would appreciate this and i m very much thankful for making the whole process easier. But there are many things which i am still not happy with WHMCS 1. They have made a support system with a mail component with send mail, on my server i use SMTP based authentication send mails, which its not supporting at all. I have made several requests but rather than comming on the problem they give me a new story altogether 2. Very tedius system of checking the invoices, like let me say i have nearly 100 domains in my user and i would like to find out from a specific domain which invoice number was prepared, which can help me out. 3. Very peculiar process, if i change the details like modify contact from user to one domain name it gets changed to all of the domains in all users under WHMCS(because of that i lost 40 clients) Can someone help on these issues.
TheHostingHeroes
1. Login to admin and go to setup > general settings > mail change phpmail to SMTP and enter authentication details below. 2. Very tedius system of checking the invoices, like let me say i have nearly 100 domains in my user and i would like to find out from a specific domain which invoice number was prepared, which can help me out. If you are using WHMCS 4.2 this is possible. Simply go to domains > domain > and click view invoices, this will tell you all the invoices that have been previously generated for this domain or product. 3. Very peculiar process, if i change the details like modify contact from user to one domain name it gets changed to all of the domains in all users under WHMCS(because of that i lost 40 clients) I often make changes in WHMCS for domain contact details / personal details and have not seen this happen, its likely something you did wrong.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted April 8, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted April 8, 2010 If you're using ResellerClub for your domains that's just way it works I'm afraid because their system uses contacts and 1 contact will apply to all domains registered by the same customer email address. You can use a different registrar if you wish.
