Daniel
Do they let you charge the users card with a token or do they just sent you the funds each month?

Daniel
Hey Daniel,I thought PayPal Pro is pretty good, why are you switching? PayPal removed my ability to charge cards on a recurring basis and won't tell my why. Their support is hopeless and their fees are too high for my liking.
GNS_Harrison
PayPal removed my ability to charge cards on a recurring basis and won't tell my why. Their support is hopeless and their fees are too high for my liking. yep, was pretty upset at paypal but they fixed it. had a buyer who disputed cause he thought he could've got free service. opened a dispute on paypal, I contacted paypal notifying them its a virtual, intangible item, they close the dispute and I won the dispute. Buyer opened a dispute through his bank, Paypal notify me mentioning that all covers will be taken care of and paypal don't need me anymore for the dispute. received an email last night, saying I lost the dispute and money was pulled from my account (reversal) ... was very upset contacted PayPal through phone, and they told me many unhelpful thing and couldn't really do much or stop this person. however, the lady rep i spoke to was very nice and refunded me the cost saying it was "unfair" but it just seemed like she just wanted to get off the phone with me haha. but .. all the things I had to go through, and PayPal emailed me saying "ALL covers are covered" so it made me not to worried. So i am guessing they sent a bs email saying its covered, and pulled the money from my account... wow thanks. but it was very generous of the lady to refund me the reversal. but I am also thinking of switching merchants. Currently using PayPal, Googlecheckout, and 2 checkout. 2 Checkout is been great so far, but their fees are very high. Google checkout is blah, I am thinking of skipping them.

From the initial review of my business i've been approved now i've just sent them some documents so waiting for final approval, but wondering as it emulates authorize.net where is the card information stored? and how is the recurring payment handled, can you please give some details about it. thanks Kapil
easyhosting
Perpetual payments handles all card details unless you use the virtual terminal where you are given the details. Recurring payments are handled by perpetual payments also. Daniel
I signed up on your recommendation easyhosting and am pretty impressed. It seems you have to request the Authorize.net emulation is enabled on your account which baffled me for a while but it works fine after that was setup.

Hello Easyhosting Thanks for the reply also wanted to know now in case of recurring payment, now suppose after 1 month client asks to change the billing cycle from 1 month to 6 months, do we have access to charge the card for remaining 5 months or the client needs to enter all the card details again? We are using worldpay right now and with the whmcs futurepay module as soon as the client puts an upgrade request the card is charged automatically when the next crontab runs to charge all the invoices, is perpetual also having something similar ? or perpetual just allows to charge fixed amount on fixed dates ? Best Regards

Yeah i'm already waiting for their response. One last query as whmcs does not have perpetualpayments module but perpetualpayments have Authorize.net emulator so you are using authorize.net module of whmcs ? bluebirdnet
glad i cam across this thread, i currently use only Paypal and its working well so far but i am always looking for an alternative or additional payment method. So some people here are using Perpetual Payments, is it going well ? I could not find much info about their fees on their site, so from what i understand here there are no monthly and setup fees ? So how does it handle subscribtions (monthly billing)? I hope you dont have to setup each individual product and payment method in their system ? (like 2CO). thanks Denny
