webnetmg
I use a shared Cpanel hosting service where PHP4 is still the default, however I am able to change it to PHP5 to run WHMCS. Great...but after upgrading to version 4.2.1, I began receiving the following error when processing support ticket email using pipe.php. The file /home/useract/public_html/whmcs/pipe/pipe.php was encoded with the ionCube PHP 5 Encoder and requires PHP 5 to be installed. To fix it I had to change the first line of /home/useract/public_html/whmcs/pipe/pipe.php to /usr/local/php5/bin/php-cli instead of /usr/local/bin/php Just thought I would share in case someone else encountered the same problem.

Lawrence
I would advise moving away from that provider. Nobody in their right mind is still using PHP4. It hasn't been supported for a few years now, and is known for having quite a few security holes.
