[RESOLVED] PayPal Pro Module in 4.2

Recommended Posts

The new 3D Secure support in 4.2's PayPal Pro module will only work for UK merchants. This feature is not available for PayPal Pro merchants in Canada and the US and all new orders fail with a "No 3D Auth" error when processed. Credit cards processed by cron will go through, but all new orders fail.

In order for the PayPal Pro module to support both UK and Canada/US merchants, the 3D Secure support needs to have a toggle so merchants in Canada/US can disable it since it is not available for us yet or 2 versions of the module need to be made available, one with 3D Secure and one without. In the meantime I've had to downgrade this module to the one included in 4.1.

Hi,

PayPal say they are offering this to users outside the UK but not everyone has it. Using the 4.1 module which doesn't have the 3d secure feature is the recommended action for anyone who is unable to use 3D Secure PayPal Pro with their account.

So would you mind telling us how to downgrade the module without having to entirely downgrade the entire WHMCS software? Thanks.

I want to let everyone know that I can also confirm....downgrading to this module as explained above is the fix for the issue.
