Adding a backup site?

Hi,

Could anyone explain from start to finish how to do this?

I would like to have a copy of my entire whmcs site and database on a seprate server that would take over if the main server goes down.

It would have to update the database on the backup server whenever changes are made (new clients, orders...)

So i guess my question is can this be done with only 1 whmcs license since it really would only be one site running at a time and how would the IP's have to be set up. And how would the database updating be handled. I am not a programer so a quick technical answer would most likely not be any help.

thanks,

Phil

Thanks John and yes, i got the license directly from WHMCS. What i am trying to find out how to set up is an automatic way of achiving this so if the main server goes down, the backup would take over without the need to manualy change things in the case that it happens during closed hours.
