Am I properly using the permissions for my custom admin role?

Hello,

 

I have an employee and I only want him to have access to the Knowledgebase to edit and add new articles.

 

1. I created a new Admin role called "Knowledgebase Operator"

2. I unchecked all the permissions except "Manage Knowledgebase"

 

The problem with this is when the user logs in via mywebsite.com/billing/admin they get the following error:

 

You do not have the required permission to perform the selected operation!

 

Action: Main Homepage

 

They need to manually paste the following link in the browser to get to the knowledge base page:

- mywebsite.com/billing/admin/supportkb.php

 

I don't want him to have access to the "Main Homepage" because it list too many stats, and allows him to perform some actions on the shortcuts left box.

 

Is there any way around this?
