dswp
Title says it all. Long version - when i send a client a password reset validation email it sends out a "please click the url to reset your password" message - and it points to a blank space where in the email template, it says {$pw_reset_url}. ANd it isn't just me who can't see it, the client said the email did not contain any urls for her to click on. Help!
m00
When you edit the "Password Reset Validation" email template, and disable the Rich-Text Editor, do you also see the "variable" as {$pw_reset_url} (so no strange HTML reserved characters like {)?
dswp
This is in the template - {$pw_reset_url} Good idea - I hadn't thought to check there. But it looks okay to me - curly braces, $ sign. what am I missing?
dsaunier
How are you sending that reminder, from your admin interface, or the client area ?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted March 30, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted March 30, 2010 You should just send the "Password Reset Confirmation" email to issue a new password from the admin side.
