Billing Cycle - Every two months - how to?

Hello all,

I have a couple questions I hope someone can give me a hint.

From what I understand, a billable item can have its billing cycle set to any interval I want, but the products do not allow me to do so.

How can I create a product and set its billing cycle to every two months?

My other question is regarding affiliates, as all hosting clients come from affiliates I just ran a test and signed up a dummy client using an affiliate id, however the client doesnt show on the affiliate's login as a referral.

Am I proceeding in the wrong way?

I have over 700 clients to migrate to WHMCS and I gotta be able to flag them as referral from my affiliates.

From what I understood, new signed up customers are referrals, not products, correct?

If that is so and I signed up through an affiliate's link, shouldnt it show up on the affiliates login, under Referrals?

Any tips on how to proceed will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

After a few more tests I have come to learn that Billable items cannot have affiliate comission applied to it.

So I gotta setup the hosting fees as a product, and our billing occurs every two months.

Therefore, stands the question as to how can I setup a product to have its billing to recurr every two months.

Thanks!
