GMS Hosted
I just signed up for hosting with Futured Hosting - http://www.futuredhosting.com for the Master Reseller Plan 3 at http://www.futuredhosting.com/master_reseller.php which includes a WHMCS License I asked for my WHMCS License and was told that WHMCS is already installed on their server and that the license is for internal use only. Now you are aware of the fact that WHMCS needs special procedures to enhance security. How can I secure my WHMCS if they are running it on their server and I only have password access to the admin area. Something very strange going on here. Please investigate.
Lawrence
I have heard nothing but bad things about this company. Can't say I am surprised, considering they cannot use proper grammar "What Our Customers Says" and the fact they offer Alpha Master Reseller Hosting with unlimited everything.
GMS Hosted
Is this allowed though because there is nothing on the sales page about ONLY running an internal license?
bear
I'd imagine that breaks the license agreement with WHMCS, but to be sure, you should open a ticket here and let them know.
Roger
They offer an app called Zamfoo. Excerpted from zamfoo.com "ZamFoo has additional features that don't work on the WhmReseller software such as client migration tools, ACL feature list stability, ip reservation and delegation, account chain auditing and validation prior to account and full billing system integration for WHMCS, Whm AutoPilot, ClientExec and any others without any of the CPU load problems." That would seem to be a license prob. I'll drop a ticket.
