mns
http://www.whmcs.com/fullfeatures.php This page says that Enom SSL Certificates provisioning can also be automated with WHMCS both for placing the order and allowing the user to configure without leaving your site How can this be done
m00
Under your product, you can select the Enomssl module name in the Module settings.

Vox
When you enable the module and one of your clients purchases an SSL certificate using this method is enom "masked" as the supplier? For example who do the domain validation emails come from? (if any are sent) How do you as the reseller confirm, authorise and then issue/install the certificate?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted March 25, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted March 25, 2010 The emails are sent from a geotrust.com domain (at least the GeoTrust certs are). All the confirmation is done by your client via WHMCS. The client should then install the cert via your server control panel (or you install it for them if you don't allow clients to control their own certificates).

Vox
I can't seem to get this part working...... Once purchased, paid for, and activated, the user is sent an email containing a link which takes them to configure the certificate in the client area. The email is going out ok but with no link included. Is there a template tag that I need to add to the "SSL certificate email tamplate"?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted March 26, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted March 26, 2010 Have you got the following in the email template? {$ssl_configuration_link}
Vox
Hi John, No the template was blank. However, works like a dream now though! Thanks very much for the help.
lanquest
I would like to be able to issue Enom SSL certificates via WHMCS as I have a couple of orders to process i would like to setup the certs this way. I found this site "http://wiki.whmcs.com/Enom_SSL_Certificates#The_Order_Process" and this forum posting "http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?p=145779" which explains how to configure it. But it's not clear as to the steps taken in the ordering process. Can someone please enlighten me as to how this can be tested before putting into production. 1. How do you know if this is working? 2. I would like the configuration email to go to us and not the client. How can we do that? 3. Does the system install the certificate or is that a manual process? This is the order process outlined on your page. The Order Process The product will appear in the order process as a regular product which can be added to the cart. No configuration is performed before purchase. Once purchased, paid for, and activated, the user is sent an email containing a link which takes them to configure the certificate in the client area. Once all details have been provided, the configuration data is sent to the Certificate Authority for validation. No manual intervention is required from you. Many Thanks Edited April 2, 2010 by lanquest

lanquest
What is the username and password for? This is asked for when going to the Manage Orders area. Is this the clients CPanel login details?
