Scotty501
Hi All, I have signed up for after my trial period with WHMCS expired - working great - thanks. I signed up to a ENOM account - and just sent an email to assign my IP. Whilst waiting, I thought I should do some further reading. What caught my eye is everyone in these forums say ENOM need a min $100 - yet the front page of the WHMCS are it shows (along with resellersclub) No min deposit - so who is right? To help you take full advantage of the automation WHMCS has to offer, we have teamed up with the two leading domain reselling companies to offer our clients great deals on their services! By signing up through us, you get to take advantage of no minimum deposits or setup fees and pricing levels which you would only get after depositing hundreds of dollars with them directly
scurrell
Minimum refill amount by card or Paypal is $100 No minimum for cheque payments. If your system is set up for automatic registrations, you'll need at least that much in the account anyway.
Scotty501
So you need $100 for automatic registrations - is that what you mean? So I could send a cheque for £20 - and I can sell domains?? So the resellers club is different?
scurrell
So I could send a cheque for £20 - and I can sell domains?? Yeah, but 20 quid isn't going to last long, especially if you get 3 or 4 signups overnight.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 5, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 5, 2010 So the resellers club is different? Yes there's no minimum top-up amount with RC.
Scotty501
Yes there's no minimum top-up amount with RC. Thanks I will give RC a go. I wont be selling 3-4 overnight - I would be happy if I did - but its just a small setup to help friends and family - with maybe selling a few along the way. I have to say WHMCS is superb so far.
Scotty501
Ah I see that with RC you need a min of $199 to start?!?
openmind
I would use eNom myself. I know there is the min. refill to get started but that's like 10 1 year .com registrations? It's a much better platform than RC imho...
deejay
Talking about Enom and emailing them. Does anyone have the email address to assign my servers IP please. Tried all week to contact them without any luck! Keep getting thrown off their support site (http://supportcenter.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/supportcenter.cfg/php/enduser/entry.php?p_.....) Thanks, Dave
openmind
Are you a fully signed up reseller? If so are you logging into your reseller account first before accessing the Help centre?
deejay
Are you a fully signed up reseller? If so are you logging into your reseller account first before accessing the Help centre? Thanks for the reply openmind, Its a long long story openmind. I have been trying since Jan 3 to get hold of them. Yes I am a reseller, and Yes I have tried their support center (whilst logged in on my reseller) - which kicks me off every time on whatever browser I use! (IE, Firefox, Chrome) Not happy at all! I have hit various email addresses admin / webmaster / help / domains all @enom.com, 1 email did find its way - redirected to WHMCS support! Its ridiculous!
othellotech
I have tried their support center (whilst logged in on my reseller) - which kicks me off every time on whatever browser I use! (IE, Firefox, Chrome) Not happy at all! I've just created an enom sub account (reseller), logged in as tat account, and been to the help center in both chrome and firefox from my desktop in London, through ie from a server in NL and from chrome and ie from my laptop over a vodafone 3g connection If you're getting logged off after clicking Help (top right) then eNom Support Center, then it *is* a problem with your machine, your internet connection or your ISP. The main Help page shows their phone number and your support PIN - try calling them
RMIGHTY1
Hi Scotty 501. Just a quick clarification to your quick eNom question. Via WHMCS there is no $100 eNom setup fee. Any funds you deposit will be available for purchases. Otherwise without WHMCS, they would deduct $100 from your available funds as a setup fee and only the remaining balance would be available for product purchases. So you definitely get a $100 benefit by signing up through WHMCS. A minimum of $100 comes into play with a credit card deposit. You can mail in a check for any amount with no minimum. Cheers! ~~Ray Edited January 11, 2010 by RMIGHTY1
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 11, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 11, 2010 ...and to get the $8.95 pricing direct with eNom you'd need to cough up a $3975 deposit!
