swilders
We use ENOM for domains and most works well through WHMCS. Looking through the forums, the page in 'Modify Contact Details' should grab it's information from the WHOIS but for all our domains it shows our company details regardless of what it says on the WHOIS or ENOM. Ideally the registrant would be set to the client and admin/billing technical would all be set to us. 1. Why isn't 'Modify Contact Details' working? 2. Is there a way to bulk change all domains to have the registrant as the client? 3. Is there a way to bulk change all admin, billing and technical details?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 16, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 16, 2009 1. Do you have Use Clients Details unticked in Setup > Domain Pricing > Other Settings tab? 2 and 3 can be done via the eNom website.
swilders
1. Yes this is unticked (it's in Domain Registrars) 2 and 3. Thanks - I will check this out.
ditto
Could your problem be related to my problems with described here?: "Domain registrant/owner changed after transfer to eNom": http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=25251
swilders
No. 'Modify Contact Details' just doesn't show the live information from WHOIS/Enom.
scurrell
No. 'Modify Contact Details' just doesn't show the live information from WHOIS/Enom. Is this for .uk domains? If so, I believe it's a problem with ENOM's API not working properly with Nominet, which is why we always have to submit a ticket to ENOM to get .uk details updated.

Lucky you Modify Contacts for us has only ever shown a page of blank fields.
