I have a product that charges a monthly fee for website maintenance and support etc. I have notified the customer that I will be increasing the price as of April. How do I best go about this? I have set up a new product for the new price If I choose upgrade - it tries to charge a pro rata extra amount from today to end of the month Should I auto terminate or something and then set up new product If so how do I set the new product to the same activation and due date as the old one?

Hello Guys We received the email of new pricing "Important pricing changes to your WHMCS license " hope does all members using WHMCS have also under that Pricing i found that it is way to high considering the previous procing model ? i dont know how other license holder will take up this challenge as we were paying business license cost and for monthly it cost us $29.99 and yearly its approximately $360 Now as per active use model we are near to 12000 Active user - and as per table its price is $299 which mean we would be paying almost $3600 per annum THIS IS 1000% Price HIKE on the license price HOW CAN ON absorb THIS HUGE AMOUNT ? WHAT is my take to save price is only 1 Delete Clients inactive Delete clients with active status and having no services but it has drawbacks as well Please review and revise this with rational pricing ! Hello, This is a bit of an interesting problem. My currency is in South African Rands. It seems that the WHMCS system is allocating credit to the client where credit is not due! I'm not sure how to fix this now. Is this a bug or is it something I have done wrong in the process? or what? OUR PACKAGES: Package A costs R649 per year for 3GB Package B costs R999 per year 5GB SCENARIO: Client orders Package B on 1 January with an annual billing cycle for R999 In June, we announce a price increase and storage allocation increase due to the cPanel price hikes changing the package costs and structure to the following: Package A costs R999 per year for 5GB Package B costs R1299 per year for 10GB Naturally, I ran the Bulk pricing updater to issue the new pricing on all the packages and updated the packages on cPanel to reflect the new storage allocations. CLIENT DOWNGRADES The client understandably decides to downgrade his account because he doesn't need the extra 5GB for the extra cost. This DOWNGRADE action has now resulted in a CREDIT of R42.10 on the order placed to downgrade the account. I am trying to wrap my head around the maths as to why this would be the case because the cost that the client originally paid was R999 and the NEW price on the downgrade is ALSO R999. We implemented it like this to minimise the cost impact if clients decided to downgrade but it seems that the system is ANYWAY giving the client credit wher credit is not due! Any advice would be well received. 🙂

So we have been loyal customers for many years now and have been paying a support fee that we really hardly ever use. Last year it was 44.95, now its $99. That's all in 12 months period. Thats more than double what it used to be. Dont you think thats a bit of an exorbitant price increase in a 12 month period ? Which i could put my prices up by more than double in 12 month. Just saying.... bit disgruntled and im pretty sure there are others out there feeling the same. Better use support more now that im paying more i guess
