  1. Have been using WHMCS since 2007, this price hike is just a bridge too far so sadly will be looking at alternatives. They obviously don't know the meaning of 'Grandfathered', so much for loyalty. I wouldn't mind, but was still more than happy paying the yearly renewal for updates. Appalling. Support and Updates was part of a legacy "Owned" license type which was removed from sale in 2016 and licenses grandfathered. As of 6th April 2021, Support and Updates have been discontinued and are no longer available.
  2. I also have admin directory password protected. I ended up backing up the database, wiping all files and doing a a complete clean install from scratch, cron started running as normal then.
  3. Hi, totally understand password protection should not affect the cron running, but in this case it just does! Only when I disable password protection does it run the cron on schedule as normal, otherwsie nothing, not even and entry in the activity log. I should mention my crons have been running fine for years until 5.2.13. I've done a full file update to 5.2.14 but issue remains the same. Yes cron setup using php -q /xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/cron.php Apache 2.4.6 PHP 5.4.20
  4. Sorry, for some reason I missed this thread and started a new one here with a similar issue regarding cron not running. Turns out mine had stopped running with the update to v5.2.13 and the fact that my WHMCS admin directory is password protected, if I remove the protection then it runs as normal.
  5. I would have replied to another thread (in bugs) regarding this but it's been closed. I have just determined that my daily cron was not running (after upgrading to 5.2.13) because my whmcs admin directory is password protected, needless to say after testing, I have just re-enabled password protection and will run the cron manually until I can do otherwise. Is there anyway around this or is a fix required?
  6. Hi, I have a couple of Yubikeys, one being a backup. Lastpass allows me to register up to 5 keys for this very purpose, is there anyway to register more keys in WHMCS? Cheers
  7. I have the same issue, since updating to 5.2.13 the cron no longer runs, I don't get email notifications and the activity log shows the cron is not running. When I run the cron manually however it works fine, any ideas? Thanks
  8. Hi, whenever I add a new client it always sends them a notification even when I've deselected "Tick this box to send a New Account Information Message ". Any reason this might be behaving like this? Thanks Version: 5.2.12
  9. I to am getting the same error, how did you go with this? An Error Occurred Authentication Failed - EDIT: sorry I just realised our errors are different.
  10. Hi, the trouble is there is nothing inside the cpanel-3.skel directory (except of course the public_html & public_ftp directories that are empty), any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
  11. Hi, did anyone end up with any other way around this or is that unencrypted file the only option?
  12. Hi, this maybe a very basic question but does anyone know how to stop the auto creation of an 'images' folder when creating an account? I'm a graphic designer but host a few Joomla sites and the images folder must always be deleted before Joomla will install which is no drama but would make life slightly easier
  13. Thanks for that Adam, what you said made me realise what I was doing wrong and was so simple. . . all that was missing was /home/myusername/public_html/db_backups Now works like a dream and has emailed me a backup Cheers and thanks also goes to 'webresellers' for this great script Mick
  14. Hi, I am getting this error below when trying to run this script from browser, any ideas on what I could be doing wrong? I think I have given correct file permissions (chmod the lock file to 777 as it requested. (I have changed 'myusername' below for this post). 15. Hi, I am getting the error (below) while trying to register a domain at Planet Domain. I am using WHMCS 3.1, have all the fields set correct in the registrar module (Username/Password/ResellerID) and plenty of funds at Planet Domain. I've done plenty of searching but to no avail. Error Code: 500 - Internal server errorServer returned: java.lang.NullPointerException Hope someone can shed some light for me, Cheers, Mick
