I do daily backups of my computers however the design was on my desktop and there was a power outage that messed up most of the hardware including my brand new 1TB hard drive that had it and I had not yet added it to my dropbox. As for the image heavy, that is a concern yes however If coded correctly there will be little to no issues. I am a PHP developer myself and have developed many scripts that run graphic heavy administrator backends. If done correctly it works with no real issues.

Yes there is an update sorry I have not been updating here regularly I have been extremely busy with my company, school, and other job. With the new release of WHMCS and the loss of the original design I started over and I feel this one looks nicer: Please note that I show little due to the fact of wanting to keep people guessing and have a good surprise when finished.

Legal things of a United States based hosting company
RandyC replied to CodyColby's topic in General Discussion
Exactly as SGCH said. I however skipped the DBA and just got an LLC, Like you said it strongly does change via state and that is still federally. I recommend that find a friend who is or has a family member that is a lawyer and save yourself some money. I know multiple lawyers and they have helped me greatly. Also be sure to get a Tax ID Number or the IRS will hit you hard especially with obama now he is cracking down hard. -
Dkent, Thanks for your opinion and yes it does take alot of work however I design cause its something i enjoy not cause its what i do for money (even if i do love a few bucks here and there). Here is my initial plan for this: Release This Design Offer Color/Small Modifications For Around $2 Create Another Design And Sell It For $5 Create More Designs... Note: I am doing this all in my spare time so it may take me awhile to get things actually done.

I understand that but the fact that it is an option is 1) an invasion of privacy, 2) if you or your staff know the person and they use the same password you mind as well just login to all there accounts.

old and i can do it myself but just a thought: Fantastico, Installatron, WHMCS, Plesk, Direct Admin, Virtuozzo, Windows, LiveZilla, Star Develop Live Help, R1Soft

Updates/Notices: Saturday, September 19, 2009 - Design Started - Screenshots Posted

I have been planning this for sometime however I am just getting around to starting this project. My reason for doing this project is because I am tired of the WHMCS default style. I am a designer and Let's face it the whmcs staff are not much of designers they are more of coders which is what makes WHMCS so fantastic. At the time of this posting I am just getting started on the design however here are some snapshots to give you a sneak peak. Screenshots: I will post more screenshots as I get further into the project. I am looking for your thoughts on this as I go along. Cheers, Randy Cram Logic Depths Founder & CEO

I am not a fan of the idea of md5 reversible option for passwords, the reason they are called passwords and not just text is because they should be kept secret.

I love it, I will use it next time i buy WHMCS because i already bought Live Help from stardevelop and integrated it.

So I'm new to creating modules for WHMCS and I am trying to connect to the WHMCS database and I am having issues with displaying data from the database. I have included the dbconnect.php but I cant seem to get the php to work. It doesnt even show up on the page. even if i just put a simple echo with regular text nothing shows up. Any Idea?

I am also curious about these functions: function template_TerminateAccount($params) { } function template_SuspendAccount($params) { } function template_UnsuspendAccount($params) { } function template_ChangePassword($params) { } function template_ChangePackage($params) { }
-
Alright so I am creating a module, not going to say what exactly cause i want it to be private for now. but I am curious if the user variables are required. I am looking to delete this function: function template_CreateAccount($params) { } I am not creating an account or anything simply entering data into the database and displaying it in the client area (if logged in). Thanks, Randy

I don't plan to do a live chat as my main purpose for this is for me and my staff that live in UK can stay updated on whats going on with the company as there are large time differences. If staff members would like to do live chat i would recommend that they use msn or something else.

I am working on a staff panel that is basically private to users who have an account created by the administrator of the panel. It will be a place to manage staff, allow staff to talk, and manage payroll. I am trying to think of what other options i would need to add to the administration backend. So i am asking if you were/are the owner of a company what kind of options would best suit you to manage your staff/private panel? I Currently Have: Staff Management (Add, Edit, Delete) Payroll Management (Pay, Amount Employee Makes) Department Management (Basically Categories and Groups rolled into one) General Settings (Manage the staff panel site name etc..) Company Email (possibly) WHMCS Integration Scheduling (possibly) Please note that this is still a project I am working on for myself however in the future i may be more inclined to release it or if the right price is offered I will release paid licenses.

Alright so I am working on customization for my WHMCS and I found a small problem. I added a border to my active/inactive/terminated/pending useraccounttable and it doesnt seem to be working.. It works on the small squares at the bottom labeling it but not on the actual table. I also tried to manually do it using border html tags in the code itself but it did not work, any clue where I can find the problem? Thanks, Randy

hmm I have mine setup that way and I am having no errors with it.

I believe it is implemented in v4, and nice bum of an extremely old thread (about 15 months old)

assign multiple emails to one support department
RandyC replied to FiFtHeLeMeNt's topic in Using WHMCS
I dont recommend doing what decor said, what you can do instead is setup your second email (email2@mysite2.com) and set it to forward all emails too (email@mysite.com). Having duplicates of the same department could be confusing to your clients. -
I am assuming that you have the $10 part of the actual package price where you should actually should remove it from the hosting package and then set the price for the actual registration in the domain registration option page.

I think so will try it out later. Thanks
